Partnership Practice

The online tool focuses on the interaction between companies and NGOs and holds the opportunity to achieve outcomes that would not have been possible without a partnership.

CSR is an increasingly important competitive parameter. The world is moving closer, the consumers demand sustainable products and the employees seek employers with ethical positions. Companies can meet these requirements through a range of different initiatives, of which not all have to involve NGOs. Forming a partnership takes time, and it is easier said than done. On the other hand /in return they can accomplish something unique for companies that experience a growing demand for them to be effective in a Lean organisation and at the same time act responsibly in correlation with the demands for environmental and social responsibility. To NGOs, the advantages are not just about financing. Alliances with companies are often seen as a shortcut, for instance to a realisation of the climate visions of environmental organisations.

The website of Partnership Practice provides knowledge and experience that inspires and eases clarification for companies and NGOs.

The website was made in connection with the project Partnership Practice in 2008 by The Danish Government Centre for CSR and the Confederation of Danish Industries.
